Roots Southern Table, located in the Dallas suburbs, recognizes American chef Tiffany Derry's Southern cooking. The food is inspired by her "Lousiana upbringing" which includes her mother's gumbo (one of the recipes' names, in fact), duck-fat fried chicken, and some warm, soft cornbread that crumbles in your mouth.
